循環をテーマにしたアクセサリープロジェクト。細工 ( SYK ) で 埋める ( UMEL ) ＝ 【 サイクメル ( SYKUMEL ) 】と名付けて2021年よりデンマークをベースに活動。2024年秋より日本にて活動開始。

2年間の編み物留学を経て制作活動中。
2020年にSkals højskolen for design og håndarbejde（デンマーク） 卒業。

Thank you for visiting my tiny shop, SYKUMEL. SYKUMEL is a small handmade jewelry business located in Tokyo, Japan. “SYK” means to hand-make delicately, and “UMEL” means to cover surfaces in Japanese.

I get creative inspiration from my garden flowers and a lot of wonderful experiences all over the world especially the bright and open-minded culture in Australia and hygge life in Denmark.

Most materials I use are:
- Leftover yarn from a Japanese industrial knitting factory
- Embroidery Threads from a private handcraft store that closed for good -Japanese vintage plastic beads
- Glass beads and threads from manufacturers to encourage their amazing traditional technical ability
- Leftover paper material from a print company in Tokyo
